Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Pinnacle Auto Glass. These Terms and Conditions govern the services provided by Pinnacle Auto Glass (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By scheduling service, requesting a quote, signing a work authorization, or allowing our technicians to perform services on your vehicle, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

1. Services Provided

Pinnacle Auto Glass provides professional automotive glass services including but not limited to:

• Windshield repair • Windshield replacement • Door glass replacement • Back glass replacement • Quarter glass replacement • Sunroof glass replacement • Diagnostic scanning • Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) calibration

Services may be performed at a customer location or at a designated service facility.

2. Authorization to Perform Work

By scheduling service or signing a service authorization, the customer authorizes Pinnacle Auto Glass to:

• Inspect the vehicle • Repair or replace automotive glass • Perform required diagnostic scans • Perform ADAS calibration when applicable • Operate the vehicle as necessary to complete service

The customer represents that they are the vehicle owner or authorized agent of the owner.

3. Customer Responsibilities

Prior to service, customers agree to:

• Remove personal belongings from the dashboard and front passenger area • Remove dash cameras, radar detectors, phone mounts, or other windshield-mounted devices when possible • Provide safe access to the vehicle interior and vehicle keys if required • Ensure the vehicle is parked in an accessible and safe location for service

Customers should notify technicians if they wish to preserve windshield decals or stickers. Pinnacle Auto Glass will make reasonable efforts to remove them without damage but cannot guarantee preservation.

4. Insurance Claims and Assignment of Benefits

If the customer elects to use insurance coverage, the customer authorizes Pinnacle Auto Glass to:

• Contact the insurance carrier • Verify policy coverage • Submit claim documentation • Receive payment directly from the insurer where permitted by law

The customer remains responsible for:

• Insurance deductibles • Betterment charges • Non-covered services

• Any balance not paid by the insurance company

Insurance coverage and claim approval are determined solely by the insurance provider.

5. Payment Terms

Unless otherwise arranged through insurance billing, payment is due upon completion of service. Accepted payment methods may include:

• Credit or debit card • Electronic payment link • Cash or approved payment methods

Failure to remit payment may result in collection actions where permitted by law.

6. Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS)

Many modern vehicles contain Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) that rely on cameras and sensors mounted to or near the windshield. Examples include:

• Forward Collision Warning • Automatic Emergency Braking • Lane Departure Warning • Lane Keep Assist • Adaptive Cruise Control • Traffic Sign Recognition

Following windshield replacement, these systems may require recalibration according to manufacturer specifications. Pinnacle Auto Glass will recommend calibration when required based on vehicle manufacturer guidelines or diagnostic scans.

7. ADAS Calibration Authorization or Waiver

Customers may choose to approve or decline recommended ADAS calibration services. If calibration is declined, the customer acknowledges:

• Vehicle safety systems may not function properly • The vehicle may not meet manufacturer safety specifications • Pinnacle Auto Glass shall not be responsible for system performance when calibration is declined

Customers assume responsibility for the operation of the vehicle when calibration services are declined.

8. Glass Types and Manufacturing Tolerances

Pinnacle Auto Glass may install:

• Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) glass • Original Equipment Equivalent (OEE) glass • Aftermarket automotive safety glass All glass installed complies with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (FMVSS 205). Minor optical variations between manufacturers may include: • Slight distortion or refraction • Tint differences • Manufacturer markings

These variations are considered normal manufacturing tolerances.

9. Moldings, Clips, and Trim Components

Windshield replacement may require removal of moldings, clips, or trim components. Due to age, exposure, or prior installation, these components may become brittle and break during removal. Pinnacle Auto Glass cannot guarantee reuse of existing moldings or clips. Replacement components may require additional charges if not covered by insurance.

10. Pre-Existing Vehicle Conditions

Pinnacle Auto Glass is not responsible for pre-existing vehicle conditions including but not limited to:

• Rust or corrosion on the windshield frame • Paint damage near the glass opening • Prior installation defects • Interior damage • Structural vehicle issues

Technicians may document vehicle condition with photographs prior to service.

11. Windshield Repair Limitations

Windshield repair is intended to restore structural integrity and prevent crack spreading. Cosmetic clarity may not be fully restored. Some damage may not be repairable and may require full replacement for safety reasons.

12. Post-Installation Care

Customers should follow technician instructions after service. Typical recommendations include:

• Avoid automatic car washes for 24–48 hours • Avoid high-pressure water near the windshield for 48 hours • Do not install window tint on the windshield for 7 days

Failure to follow these guidelines may compromise installation performance.

13. Limited Lifetime Workmanship Warranty

Pinnacle Auto Glass provides a Limited Lifetime Workmanship Warranty for as long as the customer owns the vehicle. This warranty covers:

• Air leaks • Water leaks • Installation workmanship defects If a covered issue occurs, Pinnacle Auto Glass will repair the installation at no cost. This warranty does not cover: • Glass breakage from road debris or impact • Vehicle accidents • Stress cracks caused by vehicle frame movement • Rust or corrosion • Acts of nature including hail or storms

Warranty service must be performed by Pinnacle Auto Glass.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pinnacle Auto Glass shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages including:

• Loss of vehicle use • Loss of income • Personal inconvenience

Total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid for the service performed.

15. Mobile Service Conditions

Mobile service is provided for customer convenience. Pinnacle Auto Glass reserves the right to reschedule service if conditions are unsafe, including:

• Severe weather • Unsafe working environment • Inadequate space around the vehicle

16. Electronic Signatures

Customers agree that electronic signatures and digital approvals carry the same legal effect as handwritten signatures.

17. Privacy Policy

Pinnacle Auto Glass respects customer privacy. Information collected may include:

• Name • Contact information • Vehicle information • Insurance information This information is used for: • Scheduling services • Processing insurance claims • Customer communications

Pinnacle Auto Glass does not sell or distribute customer information to third parties.

18. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the state in which the service is performed, including Kentucky and Florida where applicable.
